Use the drop down Offerings menu to see descriptions of specific classes and groups that are happening now for children, teens and adults. New workshops will be added often, so check the Calendar or Events pages for information as well. In addition to our current schedule, the following are offerings that can be arranged. Simply contact Kris to express your interest:
Drop In Times for all ages: Never been a Follow Your Art-ist before? This is a great way to try us out. If you can’t commit to a class, need a way to spend a rainy afternoon, or are in the need for some extra art time, DROP IN is for you. Cost is $20 per hour for children/teens, and $20 per studio block for adults. Bulk passes available. Many classes can accommodate a drop in, just email us for information.
Private events, groups, workshops, and parties for any group: Whether a child’s birthday party, a team building activity or night out, we can create an art event around your needs. Studio time can be designed for groups with disabilities. Contact the studio for more information.
Collaboration with Art Therapists We are developing relationships with other art therapists to bring more art therapy programming to the Melrose community. Please go to the Art Therapy page to learn more about these offerings. Private art therapy sessions are tailored to your child’s specific needs and therapeutic objectives. Structured groups provide art directives that encourage self-expression and creative development, with a focus on social and coping skill building. Contact Kris to learn more.
Professional Development Workshops Informational workshops focus on adapting art to curriculum in the classroom and using art to help engage and focus children who struggle within the classroom setting.
Art Workshops for Schools, Daycare, and Retreats Let Follow Your Art come to you! Whether a weekend church retreat for adults or a daycare full of little ones, creative art workshops are specially designed for the needs of your group, dependent upon age, skill level, and desired objectives.
